Over the last 22 months, I have heard and read the most incred­i­ble things come out of the mouths and minds of ordi­nar­ily intel­li­gent peo­ple. It took the poten­tial elec­tion of a black man to the pres­i­dency for me to see the racism and igno­rance that exists in so many of the peo­ple that I call friends.
