For you Internet Explorer 6 users out there: If you’re using an older version of Internet Explorer (6 or lower), chances are you’re doing it because you’ve no choice but to do so. I appreciate your situation—I really do. However, I can’t really allow you the same freedom I would allow others on this site because Internet Explorer 6 is unsafe. So, if you can’t use Google Chrome Frame, update your version of Internet Explorer, or download Firefox, I’m going to have to present to you the bare-bones, vanilla version of this website. Since the content here is awesome, you should still be able to enjoy yourself. Cheers!

Moving, moving forward

Happy New Year, people. I hope that, thus far, 2010 has been nothing but incredible for you.

I’ve got some resolutions. They’re pretty minor as resolutions go, however I plan to stick to them, and think I’ll be rewarded handsomely for following through. Here goes:

  1. Never say never. Where applicable, of course. For example, “I’ll never be a horse” is something that I could see myself saying without having a second thought about it… but I might, in a few months or so, decide that purple isn’t all that bad of a color to wear, or that liver is actually delicious. You never know. Never.

  2. Give love a chance. I tend to write people off pretty quickly. I plan to be less of a self-righteous jerk.

  3. Listen up. I ignore people. I ignore people all of the time. If someone is trying to tell me something that I think I already know, and that someone keeps talking after I tell them that “I know”, I will ignore that someone. If someone says the word “ribbon” or “sequins” in a sentence, I’ll stop listening for fear of the liquefication of my gray matter. If someone is yelling at me, that someone may as well be screaming at the floor beneath me. If I don’t respect someone (see #2) then that someone is wasting his or her breath, time, and energy speaking to me. And because of all that, I sometimes miss some things.

  4. Biggie Smalls is the Illest My Biggie impression needs work. I hope to perfect it.

Keep on moving forward, folks: http://blip.fm/~iwmsj
